2020 A Level Results Release

Reporting details for collection of 2020 A-level examination results


Dear Graduands,

1. The results of the 2020 Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education Advanced Level (GCE A-Level) examination will be released on Friday, 19 February 2021, 2.30pm. 

2. The following information serves to provide updates on the collection of the A-level examination results. As part of our College Safe Management Measures to ringfence the College against COVID-19, please note that only candidates will be allowed entry into College premises from 1.45pm onwards. Family members or friends accompanying you will not be allowed into the College premises.

3. In view of the current COVID-19 situation, please do not come to College if you or any household members are unwell with flu-like symptoms or affected by COVID-19 restrictions and are serving those restrictions at place of residence. 

4. Please access 
(i) this link  for Health Declaration and
(ii) this link  for SafeEntry respectively 
prior to your arrival in the College. As part of our precautionary measures, the College will be distributing the A-Level examination results administratively in the classrooms (please see Venues for the Collection of Results). The College also requests that you leave the college premises immediately upon collection of your results. 

5. Alternatively, you may view your results online via Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board’s (SEAB) results release system at www.seab.gov.sg from 3.15pm on 19 February 2021. The system will be accessible from 19 February 2021 to 5 March 2021. If you are eligible for SingPass[a] you can use your SingPass account to access SEAB’s online results release system. If you are an International Student, you can access the results release system using the SEAB-issued PIN sent to your yijc email addresses which the College had provided to SEAB. 

[a] Candidates can visit the SingPass website at www.singpass.gov.sg to find out if they are eligible for SingPass.

6. You can also appoint a proxy to collect a physical copy of your results on your behalf. Proxies are required to collect the results by Tuesday, 23 February 2021 and produce relevant  documents for the college’s verification. The proxy must bring along the completed Authorization Letter  for verification.

Education and Career Guidance (ECG)


8. Students who would like guidance on their education options can refer to the interactive MySkillsFuture portal at https://go.gov.sg/mysfpreu to find out more about the education options, career pathways and courses that are available to them. Students can also access this Google Site: https://sites.google.com/yijc.edu.sg/ecgyijc for ECG related information.

9. To complement the ECG services provided by schools, students can make an appointment for online or phone counselling with an ECG Counsellor from the ECG Centre at MOE (Grange Road) via the e-Appointment system at https://go.gov.sg/moe-ecg-centre, calling the ECG hotline at 6831 1420, or emailing MOE_ECG@moe.gov.sg. The MOE ECG Centre will offer online or phone counselling from 15 February to 19 March 2021, 9.00am to 5.00pm (Saturdays: 9.00am to 12.30pm).
